Find Care & Housing
Join Nextdoor.com, it's an intranet of your actual neighbors and close-in community (non-anonymous). Create a post asking for recommendations and prices from people who actually use those facilities. Much faster and more accurate with good insights.

I agree with Need's advice.
Know you can often do virtual online tours, get prices of care and even measurements and layouts of rooms in many facilities.
Remember to check on "Board and Care" in your area as well. These average six resident homes often are more homelike and familial in feel.
Good luck.

Online tours is a great first step. Then go see it in person.

When my cousins placed my uncle in a facility. They asked a friend of theirs who worked in a facility for advice.

The friend told my cousin. Tour the facilities that you are interested in.

Look to see if the aides are tending to residents or if they are chatting continuously in the hallways.

Google facilities in your area. Call to make an appointment to tour them. Ask questions about pricing.

Best of luck to you!
